Foundation units are core units that must be taken to complete the requirements of an undergraduate degree course, regardless of which major(s) you complete in that degree course.

Undergraduate degree courses can include foundation units. Not all degrees require students to complete foundation units.

You can check the Course Structure of your degree in the Handbook to see if your degree course requires you to complete foundation units. For example, the Bachelor of Commerce requires students to complete these foundation units.
