How do I book an appointment with a Careers Advisor?

For current students or alumni within 12 months of degree completion

If you have a quick career question, 10 - 15 minutes drop-ins session are available Monday - Friday from 9:30am to 12.30pm (no appointment required) at Counter 3 of Ground Floor of Student Central, Building 352 (next to the Oak Lawn).

If you are unable to attend Drop-Ins and cannot find an available online appointment that suits you, please email careerscentre@uwa.edu.au for assistance or submit a query through AskUWA (select Careers and Employability from the drop-down menu)

For alumni who completed their degree more than 12 months ago:

UWA Alumni have access to our online resources, workshops and events for up to three years after their graduation date, including access to:

  • CareerHub, an online database of digital resources and documents, an online job search tool, event and workshop booking sites.
  • Workshops covering topics such as resumes, cover letters, job and internship search strategies, networking and Linkedin profiles, interviews etc.
  • Opportunities to engage with employers and industry through presentations, Careers Fairs and networking events.
  • LinkedIn Photo Booth (located Ground Floor Student Central, North)
  • Our Facebook page, for news and current opportunities.

Drop ins and individual 1:1 appointments are not available a year after completing your degree. Please check the UWA Alumni page for post-graduation support as well as the free government career support service.
